Wild turkey hunting season opens in North Carolina on April 1. The youth season is April 1 – 7, and the statewide season is April 8 – May 6. Hunters are limited to two turkeys for the season, only one of which may be taken during the youth season.

Be ready to hear hens in the tree yelping, cluck and purring, cackling, jakes yelping, gobbling, and drumming.

SPRING OUTDOOR

Shooting times:

• Check in starts at 11:00 am
• Practice ends 11:45 am
• Line goes hot promptly at 12:00pm

Event is rain or shine.  No refunds will be given.

Awards will be distributed after all scores have been calculated.

 All scorecards must be turned in within 20 minutes of shooting last arrow.

Membership to USA Archery is required to participate in this tournament. The USA Archery dress code will be enforced at this tournament.  The tournament will be an outdoor round that consist of 72 arrows with a break after 36 arrows. Please visit www.usarchery.org for more info on membership and dress code.  One day memberships are available.

Only 48 archers will be able to attend this event.
